For those of you who know me, you know I generally like to keep my feet on the ground. I don’t like the sensation of falling. Not. One. Bit. So you’ll never see a post from me about jumping out of a plane. But I do like to take risks, as long as they’re managed in some way.
One of the great things about coaching is that the coaching relationship provides an environment where the client can talk through change, challenges, and risk in a way that manages some of the stress. By talking about opportunities within a confidential coaching relationship, you can get real about your fears, sticking points, and expectations. By participating in coaching, you can gain insight into who you want to be and how you want to make it happen.
Questions for wondering:
Where do I fall on the risk-taking scale?
What often slows me down in decision making?
